Keynote Presentations

Jeanne Pryde is a warm and inspiring keynote presenter who has presented at Australian and international conferences in the education, health and business sectors on a range of topics from leadership and communication, to organisational change and Appreciative Inquiry (AI).  Her passion, presence, wisdom and authenticity have deeply moved men and women of all ages, backgrounds and experiences.

Raised by her father and grandmother,  Jeanne learnt  early in life valuable lessons on caring for people’s emotional needs, not just their physical and intellectual ones. Her medical years more than enforced her understanding of a holisitic, humanistic approach to people. However this common sense, humanistic approach often is lacking in the one environment where as human beings we spend the largest part of our waking lives. At work.

Fundamental to our business success are our human interactions which impact our confidence, self-esteem and self-actualisation. They are intrinsically linked to how others see us. Even the term ‘Human Capital’ is demeaning to people’s spirits and counter productive. For people to enjoy their work, they need joyful workplaces and joyful experiences. This requires an evolved and individual approach.

Jeanne’s experiential approach to presentations and workshops is all about human interaction that impacts our confidence, self-esteem and self-actualisation. Her strategies provide attendees with the necessary, practical skills to develop, support and most importantly deliver outcomes.

Some of her most engaging presentations include: Communication and the Leadership Journey,  “I See You” and Encouraging the Heart – Creating Inspirational Leaders. An example of Jeanne’s inspirational presentations and leadership style is explained through an excerpt from her “”Encouraging the Heart – Creating Inspirational Leaders” presentation.  As Jeanne explains:

“In 20+ years of exploration working with professional organisations, one of my greatest learnings has been the interpretation of “success”.  Many companies define their success by achieving their financial targets, boosting shareholder profits and ensuring the company continues to grow and remain viable and competitive. This can define success for most companies however what differentiates the successful companies from the  few great companies to work for, is the true understanding that their people are their greatest asset.

Behind every financial run on the board is a human being, an individual working either behind the scenes or on the front line with extraordinary capacity and strengths that need to be encouraged and supported.  When leaders do that well, consistently and effectively, the organisation will be on their way to really getting the true meaning of success. When they open their heart as well as their mind the only thing they risk is re-defining organisational success and begin to find new meaning in understanding their most valuable commodity, their people, needs ongoing support and encouragement. Encouraging the heart is the key to unlocking the long-term financial sustainability in terms of GREAT companies. When leaders truly get this learning that the lifeblood of an organisation is ‘it’s people’, then can they begin to speak about being a truly great organisation.”
